Description: The Community Alliance of the Yampa Valley’s 8th Annual Gathering is from 5:30 to 9 p.m. March 8 at Depot Art Center. Guest speaker is Art Goodtimes, poet, journalist and third-term Green Party San MIguel County Commisioner. Art is a former poetry editor for Earth First Journal and Wild Earth. He's served as poet-in-residence for the annual Telluride Mushroom Festival for going on 28 years and continues as founder/director of the annual Talking Gourds poetry gatherings. His latest book, As If the World Really Mattered, was published last year by La Alameda Press in Albuquerque.
