This is exactly why I believe in the death penalty and a swift execution, it's the only way to guarantee this type of monster is never released on society again, sick or not. Why should she get mercy to ENJOY her last six months? Maybe they should let “charlie” out too, they could have a nice “family” reunion.

Why not let her husband pay for her care instead of the State? Save some money for the prison system by letting her out to be his financial responsibility while she dies.

“She(Atkins) told me out of her own mouth that Sharon Tate begged for her life, 'Please let me live, so I can have my baby,' ” Bugliosi recalled. “Atkins said, 'I don't have mercy for you… . You're going to die.'
This cold blooded killer wants a realease on “compassionate grounds”…and she might get it?
WTF?????
Only in California.

Would have been much more realistic to have completed the initial sentence and hung the lot of them. Why should the law abiding citizens have their tax dollars feed these monsters.
I have no mercy for any of them. May the entire manson family rot.

Rotting would be the esay way out for them. They should be held down, forced to beg for their lives and then stabbed to death as they did to their victims. Justice is only served when it is doled out in the same manner, you kill a family member of mine, rest assured that I will kill you(no matter what it takes)with the same lack of remorse or feeling that drove you to kill. Prison does no good as it is just a school on how to become a better criminal, these people, like the mansons, need to be tied up and shot, period. They do it in other countries for less a crime…
