1:34 a.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported on Routt County Road 14.

1:44 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies assisted a motorist near mile marker 142 on U.S. Highway 40.

2:37 a.m. A noise complaint was received from the 3100 block of Columbine Drive. A man was taken to detox.

3:33 a.m. An illegally parked vehicle was towed from the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

4:21 a.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 700 block of Critter Court. Everything was fine.

7:24 a.m. A reckless driver was reported heading westbound on U.S. 40 near Hayden. Sheriff’s Office deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.

8:09 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at 11th and Oak streets. Police took a report.

8:30 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Police issued a citation.

8:54 a.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. Everything was fine.

9:07 a.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 1000 block of Eagleridge Drive. Everything was fine.

11:14 a.m. A Steamboat Springs woman was arrested for driving with a revoked license during a traffic stop at 11th and Oak streets.

1:22 p.m. A dog at large was reported in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza. The animal was gone when police arrived.

1:55 p.m. Drug paraphernalia found in a Dumpster at Fourth and Yampa streets was turned in to the Steamboat Springs Police Department.

2:52 p.m. A structure fire was reported in the 300 block of Vista Verde Drive in Hayden. Two townhouses were damaged in the blaze. There were no injuries.

3:48 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 500 block of Rollingstone Drive. Everything was fine.

3:58 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 28400 block of Thorpe Mountain Drive. Everything was fine.

4:07 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 1600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Everything was fine.

6:01 p.m. Police assisted a motorist at Shield Drive and Curve Court.

6:08 p.m. Sheriff’s Office deputies assisted a motorist near mile marker 123 on U.S. 40.

6:19 p.m. An illegally parked vehicle was towed from the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue.

8:02 p.m. A Denver man was arrested on an outstanding motor vehicle theft warrant in the 31700 block of C.R. 35.

8:58 p.m. A Clark man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence at Yampa and Sixth streets.

10:58 p.m. A fight in progress was reported at Gondola Transit Center, where one man was allegedly cut with a knife. Some of the parties involved were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Police are investigating.

I think Alpine Taxi needs to get their name out there a bit more.

Before you choose to drink and drive call these guys. 10 or 20 bucks is small price to pay compared to the cost of a DUI.
