2:38 a.m. An ambulance was requested in Steamboat Springs, where a man was experiencing chest pain. The man was transported to the hospital.
4:02 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near mile marker 140 on U.S. Highway 40, where a suspected drunken driver struck a parked semitrailer. A Stagecoach man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
5:45 a.m. An ambulance was requested in Steamboat Springs, where a man needed a piece of glass removed from his foot.
7:19 a.m. An unfounded burglary report was received from the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue, where employees found their business in disarray. The business’ owner apparently made the mess to teach his employees a lesson after the doors were left unlocked Wednesday night, police said.
7:59 a.m. A suspicious incident was reported in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue, where a passing motorist reported seeing two small children standing unattended on the sidewalk in their pajamas. When police arrived, the children were wearing ski clothes and were accompanied by their parents.
8:07 a.m. Police performed a welfare check on a child in Steamboat Springs. Everything was fine.
9:32 a.m. A pair of skis was reported stolen from the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive. Police took a report.
9:56 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies assisted a motorist near mile marker 119 on U.S. 40.
10:46 a.m. A fire alarm went off in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza. Everything was fine.
11:52 a.m. Police were called to the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue, where a customer refused to leave a store. Police gave the man a warning, and he left the premises.
1:22 p.m. A dog at large was reported in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue. The animal was picked up and taken to the shelter.
2:26 p.m. A two-vehicle, hit-and-run accident was reported in a parking lot in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue. There were no injuries. Police took a report.
2:39 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 2800 block of Burgess Creek Road. Everything was fine.
6:25 p.m. Harassment was reported in Steamboat Springs, where a man was yelling at a young girl in a parking lot. Police gave a warning.
6:50 p.m. A suspicious incident was reported in the 1800 block of Hunters Drive, where a door had been left open at an unattended residence. Everything was fine.
9:52 p.m. A Denver man was arrested in the 31700 block of C.R. 35 on an outstanding motor vehicle theft warrant.
11:05 p.m. A fight in progress was reported at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue, where two men were pushing and shoving on the sidewalk. Police mediated the dispute and separated the men.
11:33 p.m. A drunken pedestrian was reported in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive. A sober friend took the woman home.

it was real nice of that sober friend to take that woman back to OC
