jomarch, well said, bloggy thinks you knocked it out of the park! its everyones right to have an opinion but remember everyone is human. before posting something vindictive walk outside and take a deep breath (or in our case, stick your head in the snowbank) and take a moment to relax. bcpow, how about “all my boat children” ?

blog has a question in regards to the proposed bypass. how is it supposed to alleviate traffic? from blogs perspective 95% of the traffic in steamboat is just people driving in and arround town(running errands, dropping the kids off, going to work etc.) how is a road that bypass's downtown supposed to alleviate traffic if your destination is downtown? while it would be great for truckers or drivers passing through steamboat this doesn't seem to be the case with majority of traffic. lastly at a recent economic summit on transportation CDOT reported that colorado is facing a huge road infrastructure deficit. couple that with the cost of paving growing exponentially and it leaves quite a few questions on the viability of a bypass. blog is not opposed to the idea of a bypass, i'm just looking for someone who can explain how its supposed to work.

blog has tried the grass fed beef and liked it. it's much leaner and has a slight gamey taste, a little like buffalo. there used to be a buffalo ranch out on C.R. 43 at the intersection with cowcreek. woodsman, i agree. from what blog has read peak oil production is not BS and needs to be addressed. blog has recently heard about efficiency kits that can be retro fitted to existing autos to greatly improve mileage.

big whoop. bloggy is 8'th generation squared. thats right blogs family moved here 1100 years ago. blog's great,great,great,great,great grandmother said the runoff of 1467 was the record flow of all time! oh, and on the subject, there is a pretty solid snowpack still in the high country but barring any major late Spring dumps we should be o.k. as far as flooding goes.
